Crawlspace Framing Repair

Sagging/bouncy floors, Sticking doors/windows, and Unlevel floors (Ball rolls) are signs of framing problems in your crawlspace; Caused by water or insect damage, and/or inadequate-sized wooden framing (Joist, Beam, Sill Plates, etc.).

Why Choose Us

Damaged Joist can be sistered with the same existing dimensional lumber or with larger/stronger lumber if required. Sistering the full joist from a bearing point to a bearing point is best practice and a longer-lasting repair compared to "scabbing" a smaller piece of lumber in the damaged area. Damaged Beams should be removed/replaced versus "sandwiched between 2 new pieces of lumber for a longer-lasting repair.

Damaged Sill Plates are removed/replaced with termite sheild installed between the masonry foundation and the new wooden sill plate. Our Professional team uses pressure-treated ground contact lumber with corrosion-resistant structural fasteners for long-term repairs. Remodeling your home? Reinforcing your floors can help keep your new kitchen or bathroom from developing cracks or becoming unlevel. Call today for a free crawlspace inspection!
